Creating an Account

Creating an account and registering is a fairly straightforward process.  However, it is important that you put the parent information in first.  Below are the basic steps required for creating a new account, creating participant's (your children), and registering in the program.

1. Click the login link at the top right. 
2. Enter the parent's information, and your communication options.  It's important that this is the parent's information, as they may not even be a member themselves.  It is recommended that you leave all message lists set to "Yes", so that you will receive newsletters and notifications on upcoming events/programs.  If you choose no for some of these, you will not be notified in any other way.
3. Once completed, you're going to want to add some participants.  This can be done by clicking on "My Account" at the top right, then "My Participants" on the left navigation bar.  You may enter their skate canada number if you know it, and their skill levels.
4. Once you have all your participants in the system, you'll want to register them in CanSkate, Tots, Jumpstart, or the STARSkate program.  Click on the "Registration" link at the top.  Each programs has detailed information about that program, and you can see it by clicking the program name or "View Details".  From there, it's as simple as clicking "Register".

Important Note

If you can find your Skate Canada Membership numbers for your skaters, enter them.  If you're having a hard time finding them, don't worry about it, as the site will automatically match your skater information with the Skate Canada database.
