Fee Options

Families can choose the fee option that works best for them when registering.

Option 1 – Reduced Program Fee (Includes a commitment to fundraising & volunteering. Requires additional cheques - see note below)
Pay the reduced registration fee and participate in the club’s fundraising and/or volunteering requirements. Applicable fundraising and volunteer cheques are required at the beginning of the session and will be held as long as the requirements are completed. See Fundraising & Volunteering Requirements below.

Option 2 – Opt Out (Higher fees but NO VOLUNTEERING or FUNDRAISING)
Families who prefer not to participate in fundraising and/or volunteering may choose the applicable opt-out fee at registration. All fees are paid at registration. No further action is required.

Fundraising & Volunteering Requirements

For families choosing Option 1:

• Two separate cheques are required at the beginning of the session:

  • One cheque for fundraising

  • One cheque for volunteering

• Cheque amounts and Fees are outlined in the attached document.

• Cheques will be held and not cashed, provided all fundraising and volunteering requirements are fulfilled by the end of the session.

This flexible option allows families to support the club in the way that works best for them while helping keep program costs accessible.

Registration Discounts

Athabasca Skating Club offers the following registration discounts:

• Multi-Skater Discount: 15% off for families registering multiple skaters.
• Multi-Program Discount: 15% off when registering a skater in multiple programs.
• Full-Year Registration: Reduced registration fees are available for families registering for the full skating season.

Please note: Only one discount may be applied per family. Discounts cannot be combined or stacked, including with Full-Year Registration savings.

Payment Options

Whenever possible, we kindly ask families to pay by e-Transfer. This helps reduce credit card processing fees and allows more funds to go directly back into our skating programs.

• Skater’s level

Cheque
Cheques are accepted and should be made payable to Athabasca Skating Club. Please include the skater’s full name and program(s) in the memo.

Credit Card
Credit card payment is also available during online registration checkout.

Important: Fundraising and volunteer cheques are required at the beginning of each session. Skaters may not participate until all required fees and cheques have been received.
